I.T. Supremacy
Movie Premiere Press Release
Angry Sky Entertainment, LLC announces the world premiere of its new comedy short film, I.T. Supremacy, at the inaugural Green Bay Film Festival in Green Bay, WI on February 26th.
Ken Cole wrote and directed the short film, which was shot on location in Norman, OK. Cole, a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, previously directed the PBS documentary Tornado Glory and worked as a videographer for the Discovery Channel series Storm Chasers.
I.T. Supremacy is an action mockumentary that follows an Information Technology director named Jim Dawson. While daydreaming about his heroic battle with a ninja hacker, Jim is suddenly interrupted by a stern F.B.I. agent, Violet Striker. The F.B.I. has discovered a massive security breach at Jim’s company, and demands that Jim take responsibility.
Jim Dawson, however, does not bow so easily to pressure. After informing Agent Striker that he oozes I.T. awesomeness, Jim turns his attention to his sidekick, Chris, and his new hire, Ken. While Chris has sharp I.T. talent, Ken has a slow mind and a lot to learn. In order to train Ken properly, Jim happily sings his self-composed “I.T. Love Ballad” and introduces Ken to the amazing server gnomes.
However, while Jim and Chris are having fun with the newbie, a very real threat looms in the shadows. Before long the entire I.T. team must work together to unravel a web of digital deceit and save the company.
I.T. Supremacy boasts a cast of real-life computer gurus from the Oklahoma City area, as well as an original score from Oklahoma native Jay Galvin. Galvin has previously contributed music for the films Tornado Glory and To Love a Mexican.
Regarding the world premiere at the Green Bay Film Festival, Jay Galvin states, “it’s an honor to be able to show off our movie to this year’s Superbowl winners. I’m excited to be connected to such a great city.”
Director Ken Cole enthuses, “Oklahoma is an exciting and wonderful place to make movies. I’m very privileged to work with such humorous and talented people, and we’re honored to be a part of this festival.”
As part of the Green Bay Film Festival, I.T. Supremacy will premiere alongside an international selection of films from countries including Japan, Switzerland, and Australia. The three-day event runs from February 25th through February 27th at Green Bay’s KI Convention Center. More information can be found at www.gbfilmfestival.org.
